Dr. Daniel Bennett received his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. He subsequently completed an anesthesiology residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, where he continued his postdoctoral training in interventional pain medicine.
In addition to his position as assistant clinical professor of anesthesiology and pain medicine at the University of Colorado, Dr. Bennett is also immediate past chairman of the Board of Directors for the National Pain Foundation, of which he is a co-founder. He is on the Board of Directors for the North American Neuromodulation Society, and is an active member of several national professional associations, including the American Academy of Pain Medicine and the American Pain Society. An author, researcher and lecturer, Dr. Bennett has focused his investigation in the areas of spinal cord stimulation in the treatment of neuropathic pain, electrical and chemical neuromodulation, complex regional pain syndromes, and failed back surgical syndromes.
