Hi. I am Commander John Burke. I have spent 40 plus years in law enforcement. I am currently in charge of the Warren County Drug Task Force in Southwest Ohio and Southwest Ohio HIDTA Initiative. I am also president of the National Association of Drug Diversion Investigators and owner and president of Pharmaceutical Diversion Education Inc. I guess sometimes I wish maybe there was a typical demographic, but the truth of the matter is there is not. It is as varied as there are people in this world and trying to zero in on a certain demographic is very difficult if not dangerous. What I would suggest instead of that is use the tools that you have available to you. If you have a suspicion, you have certainly prescription monitoring programs. You also have urine drug screens. You have pill counts. You have a lot of different avenues that you can take instead of relying on just demographics.
